40 Days of Prayer and Fasting

With the darkening condition of our nation and our world, I believe it is a crucial time to devote ourselves to pray and fast. So, beginning on September 27, we are calling CFM to 40 days of prayer and fasting.

This session will end on November 5, which is Election Day. Because it is so natural for us to fixate on the things of the world or our political persuasions, we can use these things as reminders to re-focus our attention on the things of God and the things which are eternal!

If you choose to participate, I am asking you to be very intentional about making consistent time for prayer and setting aside times for God-directed fasting. To guide our prayers, we will make resources available from Acts 29 by Terry Teykl.

Thank you for your willingness to pray and fast! Our ultimate desire is for God’s will to be done and that we remain faithful to trust and honor Him so that our lives may shine bright for His glory!
